Delete your account
You can delete your imanotes account and the data we hold about you at any time. Sign in with the Google account you use for imanotes and you land straight on the deletion screen; confirm there and it is done.

What is deleted
Immediately, when you confirm:
- the copies of your published cards, and any note text published with them;
- the index of your notes kept to show your gallery;
- your display name;
- your circle memberships and requests to join — circles you created pass to their next member, or are deleted if nobody else is in them;
- your sessions on every device, any unread take-down notices, the reports you filed, and the feedback you sent;
- imanotes' access to your Google account and Google Drive.
What is detached, not deleted
Generation records (used to enforce limits), visit statistics and the record of your admission are kept, but detached from your account: they no longer identify you.
What stays with you
Your notes and cards are ordinary files in your own Google Drive. imanotes never deletes them; they stay yours to keep or remove.
How long it takes
Deletion runs at once. If any step does not go through, the app tells you which one; in any case, all data we hold about you is gone within 30 days of your request.
Cannot sign in?
If you no longer have access to the Google account you used, write to imanotes@proton.me from that account's address, or tell us which address it was. We will delete the account by hand within 30 days and confirm when it is done.
See the privacy policy for everything else about your data.
